Electrical purity aluminium with conductivity of 61.5% for the international Annealed Copper Standard. For similar current and temperature rise conditions a conductor in this alloy weighs 46% of a copper conductor. It is obviously used principally as in electrical bus bar where low resistivity is a critical requirement. The electrical quality alloy not often found in the rolled form, normally rolled to special requirements.
1350 is among the “EC” or “Electrical Conduction” Alloys due to it’s high purity of 99.5% aluminum or more. Alloy 1350 is widely used in a number of electrical and other industries due to its conductivity and formability.

Aluminium alloy 5454 has very good corrosion resistance, in particular to seawater and general environmental conditions. Strength is medium to high and similar alloy 5754 with good strength in the temperature range 65 to 170 degrees centigrade. It has a high fatigue strength. It is not suitable for complex or fine extrusions.
