Tungsten (W) is one of the so-called transition metals with the atomic number 74,it’s shiny gray metal in a solid state at room temperature.Tungsten has many outstanding characteristics,it has the highest melting point of all metal elements of 3422°C,and boiling point around 5,700°C closing to the surface temperature of Sun,thus it can withstand a very high temperature.With a high density of 19.3 g/cm3, closely to gold density,tungsten is widely used as balance weights for aircraft and helicopter.Tungsten is also resisted to various acid in room temperature,ever for hydrofluoric acid and aqua regia. 
During production process, the surface of tungsten wire was black coated with graphite, when graphite emulsion was removed,tungsten wire shows metallic luster. The surface of tungsten wire is free of burrs, cracks, scratches, pits, uneven, and oil.

Tungsten Pipe & Tubes should be kept in clear and dry place,with room temperature not higher than 28 ???, humidity less than 60%.It should be kept away from chemicals,cleaned wire should vacuum packaging to prevent surface oxidation.Tungsten materials are brittle at room temperature, do not vibrate or collision rapidly when moving.
