Tungsten (W) is one of the so-called transition metals with the atomic number 74,it’s shiny gray metal in a solid state at room temperature.Tungsten has many outstanding characteristics,it has the highest melting point of all metal elements of 3422°C,and boiling point around 5,700°C closing to the surface temperature of Sun,thus it can withstand a very high temperature.With a high density of 19.3 g/cm³, closely to gold density,tungsten is widely used as balance weights for aircraft and helicopter.Tungsten is also resisted to various acid in room temperature,ever for hydrofluoric acid and aqua regia.
Tungsten rod/bar/electrode is supplied by powder metallurgy method form tungsten powder to sintered tungsten bar,then after forging, rolling, swaging, and drawing processing singularly or in combination to reach the desired size.The finished appearance is black or silver according to different process method.
